Manager and Founder of Just Dance
From a very young age Alice’s ambition was to spend her life dancing. After training locally, she earned a place at ‘The Centre of Performing Arts’ in London under Karen King, who was an examiner for the ISTD and choreographer of some of the Modern syllabus.
Alice’s love of teaching led her to achieve mostly Distinctions in her Teaching Certificates for Ballet, Modern and Tap. Throughout the 3 years at Dance College, she studied Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz, Singing, Contemporary, Musical Theatre and much more! Alice founded Just Dance in January 2003 and to her delight it has become one of the most popular and established dance schools in the area.
Alice Burren handed the role of ‘Principal’ over to Alex Harper in 2019 and now is the Manager of Just Dance while living aboard in Singapore with her husband and three children. Alice and Alex work closely together to make Just Dance the special school it is today making sure every child is enjoying their dance classes and reaching their full potential. Alice over sees the admin of the school and looks at the school’s direction and vision to give the best possible classes to the students at Just Dance.
